Broken Social Scene to take indefinite hiatus
Broken Social Scene front man Kevin Drew often remarks onstage at the collective’s live shows that BSS “is not a band, we’re just a bunch of people making music.” But soon, they will be neither as Drew has told Pitchfork that his band bunch of people making music will be taking an indefinite hiatus after playing a few last shows this month and next. 2o1o has been an exciting year for BSS. The refreshingly powerful sounds of “Forgiveness Rock Record” has made the last 5 years worth the wait and it is 0bviously the album of the year. Fuck what P4K and all the other music blogs critique, with the exception of this one of course!
FYBSS was created just a little over a year ago from today and it has come a long way with the help of each and every one of you lovely Broken Social Scenesters.
Let’s hope that 2011 will bring more BSS goodness because we all want their lovely music to save our lives <3
